02/21/2026 - it's video gayme time
I've started working on my game! I had an almost two-month break after finishing my last one, but I figured it was time to get going again. Plus I was about done with brainstorming so. Right now I am finalizing character designs and after that I'll get started on dialogue, and then I'll do coding last. This time I'll be working with Gamemaker, which I'm very comfortable with when it comes to making games so I'm pretty excited! I've never done a visual novel in Gamemaker before but from what I've researched it isn't very difficult to do.
I also have just gained access to apps on my phone, which I'm pretty happy about! My parents make me use parental controls, and previously I could only use camera and messages and stuff like that... now I can have normal apps like a normal person which is great. It sounds silly but this is a pretty big deal for me! I'm pretty excited about it! I can play Block Blast now. Imagine that.
There isn't really a lot going on right now besides that... I have had the thought that I've been too inwardly focused lately. Trying to hard to have it all figured out. But all that's really been doing lately is stressing me out. So I need to focus on something ele for a bit and stop paying attention to what I'm thinking, because that tends to make me unhappy. Hence why I'm working on my game now. Two month break was too long (even if I was brainstorming during that time). I need my projects or else I explode. So it's dialogue time babey!
As far as the website goes, I'm gonna take a casual approach to working on the site and only really do stuff when I really want to so that I don't get burnt out or run out of ideas super quickly like I did with the old version. I really like the way the site looks right now! Originally this was just gonna be a temporary new version and then I was going come up with something really cool when the site anniversary came, but now I think I'll stick with this version for a while... so I'll have to think of something different to celebrate Liquid Sunshine's first birthday.
Uhh yeah I guess it's a short one today, I don't really have a lot going on anymore! I am going to play the Sims now, I shall return next Day of Satur.
