04/11/2026 - saturday is here again
It's not Eight making the journal post today! It's me! Isabeau! The weekends are my scheduled front time since I am usually the one to go to work... so probably expect a lot more journal entries from me. We have decided that this will be everyone's journal rather than just Eight's. Makes more sense that way.
Actually, I should probably talk about our plans for the website! Okay. So. We think that being so open about being a system on a website that everyone in our real life knows about and has access to is probably a bad idea! So we are thinking that we will get Neocities supporter (or maybe make a Geocities account and host a second website there? We're not sure yet) and make a new website at a new URL - cephalopoptimism.neocities.org. The good thing about our "cephalopoptimism" URL is that it's never, ever taken on any website. So anyway we make a new website, and that one has allll the blog and about me and art and all that. This website - this URL - would still be active! We would set it up in a way where it's good to go and then we could leave it. We haven't decided yet whether to use it as a shrine hub or as it's own seperate thing.
Anyway. That's our current plan, but I doubt we'll actually implement it for a while, since we do need to prioritize our game over other personal projects. This will probably be a project for the summer.
Hmmm. Oh! Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream releases in less than a week!!! We are very excited!!! We have so many ideas for people to put in the game... we also got a haircut yesterday which I need to figure out how to style before we go to work. And we got new sketchbooks with these really good markers. We're eager to share our drawings from that sketchbook, so we'll probably have to make the sketchbook page on our site soon!!!
We gave Eight the entirety of Spring Break to work on the game. I... don't think they actually did all that much but that's okay! All we really need to do is the script and a bunch of art. This is a pretty low-workload game. So it's not that big of a deal if they had writer's block.
Oh! Eight also made front indicator bracelets for all of us! I will show you.
I don't know why Eight made bracelets for headmates like Calypso who don't front... I guess they didn't whant them to feel left out? Well, they're pretty anyway. It's funny though, while Eight was making these, he kept thinking "okay, Isa's will need to be a bit larger than mine, since he has a larger wrist... wait. We have. The same wrist."
Speaking of, Jax and Eight got in a fight earlier this week. I won't get into the details since it could be triggering for some people, but it was about self harm. It was a dumb thing to fight about! If the fight had been about how they shouldn't do it maybe I'd understand, but...!!! Anyway. It's not worth getting into. The point is that they ignored each other for a week and it seems both have cooled off. So I think they're on good terms again. I hope so, at least! It's no good when headmates are fighting. Gives us headaches.
